We purchased Ellie from the TMO Polled Hereford Ranch, Magnolia, Arkansas at the Northeast Texas Hereford sale in Mt. Pleasant , Texas . She had an outstanding bull calf at her side and was the class female of the sale. She is bred back to Star Embracer 154L and will calve November 11, 2004 . If this calf is as outstanding as the last, we will flush her to PW Victor Boomer P606 and move her to calve in our normal calving season of January 15 - March 31, during 2005.

We purchased 3 Grade 1 Embryos from JC & Jo Anne Rogers at the Fort Worth Stock Show in January. We implanted the first embryo on May 2nd and she should calve February 3, 2005 .

We purchased this Embracer daughter and heifer calf from PLR Polled Herefords, Lincoln Arkansas at the Arkansas Hereford Association spring sale. She is bred back to Boyd Genetic Power 2036 (P42268715) and will calve in December, 2004. We will move her to calve in our normal spring season in 2006.

As I was evaluating the calves at the DeShazer Cattle Company "Event III" Sale , every calf I highlighted was sired by Keymaster 125L. Although I don't like his calving ease EPD, I decided to make an exception since the progeny were so exceptional. We implanted the first embryo in one of our younger recipient cows on May 24th.

I hadn't intended to purchase anything other than embryos at the DeShazer Cattle Company "Event III" Sale, but the opportunity to purchase a young quality cow with an outstanding Embracer Daughter by her side bred back to (guess who) RT DCC 20K Key Master 125L. We are anxiously awaiting the results of this mating!
